Senior Blockchain Engineer (Bitcoin Core, Go) Offline

We are working on an experimental blockchain consensus mechanism built on top of Bitcoin Core. This project involves modifying Bitcoin’s consensus layer and optimizing key blockchain parameters.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and optimize a new consensus mechanism (Go, Bitcoin).
• Modify Bitcoin Core’s protocol (block validation, mining mechanics, difficulty adjustment).
• Collaborate with cryptographers and external auditors to validate and refine algorithms.
• Conduct performance testing and security analysis of blockchain protocol changes.
• Write clear technical documentation on algorithm design and protocol modifications.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in blockchain development.
• Professional Go development experience.
• Strong understanding of Bitcoin architecture, Proof-of-Work, and difficulty adjustments.
• Experience working with Bitcoin Core (preferred but not mandatory).
• Familiarity with blockchain security analysis is a plus.
