Middle SDET (JavaScript, TypeScript)

We are looking for skilled Middle SDET (JavaScript, TypeScript) to join a large-scale logistics and maritime industry project. The focus is on developing innovative software solutions to optimize cargo operations and streamline logistics processes at ports and terminals worldwide.

 

Requirements:

  • Solid experience with programming languages (JavaScript, TypeScript)
  • Strong knowledge of REST API testing, including edge cases, performance, and authorization scenarios
  • Experience designing and maintaining automated test suites for APIs and SDKs
  • Proficiency with tools such as Postman, Jest, and Playwright
  • Familiarity with logging and monitoring approaches in test environments
  • Understanding of Docker for running and testing services in containers
  • Test Automation Execution & CI/CD
  • Kafka / Event-Driven Testing
  • Good communication skills and at least a strong intermediate level of English

     

Overlap time requirements: 2-3 hrs with PST time zone

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites covering a comprehensive REST API.
  • Build a parallel test suite for an SDK that proxies all API methods.
  • Implement logging, performance testing, and authorization checks as part of the testing process.
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and drive issues to resolution.
