Middle Senior Python Developer Offline

What you’ll actually do
• Ship and own new micro-services that import, cleanse and enrich Open-Banking & accounting data.
• Design clear, versioned APIs consumed by both our React front-end and third-party integrators.
• Optimise Postgres queries and async tasks so datasets 10× in size still feel snappy.
• Harden CI/CD: zero-downtime deploys, blue-green rollouts, automated DB migrations.
• Keep an eye on logs, metrics and traces; kill incidents before users notice.
• Review code, mentor juniors and champion “tests first, docs later—both before ship”.

Must-have:
• 4+ years professional Python (at least one framework in production).
• Strong grasp of relational DB design, transactions, indexes and query tuning.
• Comfort with async IO and concurrency patterns (Celery, asyncio, or RQ).
• Hands-on with containers and at least one cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP); we’re on GCP.
• Git-driven workflow, code reviews, CI/CD, “you build it, you run it” mindset.
• Confident English (B2+) — meetings, PRs, the occasional meme in Slack.
