Senior .NET Developer Offline

Our client – a full-service global software company based in Cyprus is looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join their team in Cyprus or remotely. 

The company is specialising in the design and development of custom web, mobile, and desktop applications. They offer end-to-end digital transformation services, including software development, IT consulting, and strategic communications, catering to clients across various industries.

Main Responsibilities 

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and secure .NET applications. 
• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Design and enforce best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance, ensure high availability, and implement security best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in .NET and cloud computing.

Main Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in .NET development, including C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure DevOps, and related services.
• Extensive experience designing and building large-scale, distributed applications.
• Deep understanding of software architecture patterns, including microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automated deployments.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, security best practices, and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex applications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
• Upper Intermediate or higher level of English.
