Strong Senior SDET / QA Automation

We’re not looking for just another Automation QA. We’re looking for the one — a sharp technical mind who sees through flaky tests, builds resilient testing architectures, and can gain the trust of international clients from the first Zoom call.

One of the key systems you'll support is a platform for processing and managing thousands of funding applications — with dynamic forms, configurable rules engine, multi-step workflows, and integrations with identity, tax, and registry systems. Technologies:

• Languages & Frameworks: Java 17+, Kotlin, Python (Pytest), TypeScript (Playwright), Selenium, Selenide, JUnit
• Testing Domains: UI, API, Integration, Backend
• CI/CD & Infra: GitHub Actions, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana
• Architecture: SOA, microservices, secure deployments (cloud + on-prem), test coverage pipelines, audit trails

Key Responsibilities:

• ✅ Automate test cases, create pipelines, coordinate QA automation efforts on a large-scale, enterprise-grade financial application used by public and institutional clients across Europe (approx. 50% of your time)
• ✅ Consult several in-house QA teams working on different stacks, helping them resolve flaky tests, improve tooling, test strategies, and CI/CD (approx. 20%)
• ✅ Support external client projects — contributing to presales and providing expert consulting on automation architectures, frameworks, and processes (approx. 30%)

Required Skills and Experience:

1. 7+ years of experience in Test Automation, with strong focus on coding, designing resilient test frameworks, defining testing strategies, building CI/CD pipelines, evaluating technology stacks, and applying various types of testing.
2. Deep expertise in at least 2 stacks with programming (Python, TypeScript, Java / Kotlin), scripting and SQL languages 
3. Solid theoretical knowledge or talent in Manual Testing
4. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI
5. Expertise in code design patterns and principles 
6. Successful experience in the creation of UI testing frameworks from scratch and long-term maintenance of them, web frontend testing. high-load microservices testing
7. Pytest, Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
8. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes
9. Cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
10. Testing with async messages and message brokers in microservices environments (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, gRPC, Web Sockets)
11. Performance Testing: JMeter, Gatling, k6, etc.
12. Security Testing: OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or similar
13. Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, or similar)
14. Code review and refactoring skills
