Senior Back-end Python Engineer Offline

Launch Labs is seeking a skilled Back-end Python Engineer for a project, a cutting-edge platform that supports athletes, coaches, and teams in optimizing performance. Requirements:

  • strong experience building scalable, production-ready applications in Python;
  • experience working with Flask, Pydantic, and MongoDB;
  • solid understanding of working in Linux environments, especially in cloud-based infrastructure (preferably AWS);
  • experience managing EC2 instances and working with S3;
  • tech stack: Python, Flask, Pydantic, MongoDB, AWS Services; EC2 S3

     

Responsibilities

  • design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Flask;
  • implement robust data models and validation using Pydantic;
  • manage and query MongoDB collections for high-performance data retrieval;
  • deploy, monitor, and manage backend services using AWS tools, particularly EC2 and S3;
  • write clean, efficient, and well-tested code with attention to maintainability;
  • collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and data scientists to define and deliver new features

 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience or strong interest in Machine Learning applications (e.g., performance prediction, video analysis, etc.)
