Position Overview

We're seeking a talented and motivated Junior+/Middle Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at COFO. In this role, you'll help build and maintain the backbone of our next-generation data-driven trading platform. You'll work on critical components that power our trading tools, including CoFo Scout, CoFo Intelligence Dashboard, and CoFo Insights Engine.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services that power our trading analytics platform
• Implement APIs for data collection, processing, and delivery to frontend applications
• Contribute to the development of our ML/AI-powered trading models and algorithms
• Work with large datasets and implement efficient data processing pipelines
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in backend development

Requirements

• 1-2 years of professional experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency backend programming language (Node.js / Nest js)
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• Experience with WebSocket protocols for real-time communication
• Familiarity with database technologies (Mongo DB)
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS)
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of financial markets and trading concepts is a plus
• Experience with data processing frameworks is a plus
• Experience with a Docker is a plus
• Experience with Redis is a plus
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills in English
