DevOps Engineer

Everstake is a blockchain company with Ukrainian roots, proudly ranked among the top 10 validators globally. We partner with over 80 Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchain networks, supporting their growth with secure, high-performance infrastructure.

As our operations scale, we’re looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing infrastructure team and help us build and maintain robust systems that power the decentralized future.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience with Linux systems (Debian/Ubuntu), including deep understanding, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Proven hands-on experience with bare-metal infrastructure and storage, including RAID, partitioning, file systems, performance tuning, and disk monitoring.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalls).
• Experience managing high-load systems and understanding network traffic load and optimization.
• Practical experience with load balancers (e.g., HAProxy, NGINX, or hardware equivalents) and infrastructure scaling techniques.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python).
• Solid experience with containerization (Docker, Docker Compose) and provisioning/automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, SaltStack, Terraform).
• Experience with Git-based workflows.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana, Loki, Zabbix).
• Good understanding of DevOps principles.
• Ability to learn new tools and technologies with an issue-solver attitude.
• At least B2 Upper-Intermediate English level, C1 Advanced will be a plus.

Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with ELK stack for monitoring.
• Experience with VMware or Proxmox.
• Experience with GCP or AWS.
• Ability to read/debug Go or Rust code for collaboration and debugging purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain various blockchain infrastructure components, including validator nodes, full nodes, archive nodes, and RPC nodes.
• Ensure the high availability, scalability, and security of all blockchain services.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation.
• Containerize applications and services to enhance deployment efficiency.
• Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring solutions; analyze logs to improve system stability and performance.
• Securely handle sensitive information using industry-standard security tools.
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver robust infrastructure solutions.
