DevOps Engineer

Looking for a DevOps Engineer for an international product IT company with a Ukrainian core team that develops its own SaaS B2C solutions for US and Europe markets (Tier 1/2/3) due to the expanding of the team. 

Company products:  WEB SaaS products and utilities for social media.

Technical Team - 20+ employees

The team of the company - 80  people

Locations  of the team - Europe/USA/Ukraine,  full remote from any country/office Kyiv

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • 3+ years of experience with Linux (Ubuntu and other distributions)
  • 0.5+ years of programming experience (Python, Golang, JavaScript or other)
  • Strong experience with Docker and other container technologies
  • Еxperience in implementing and administering Kubernetes (K8s)
  • Understanding of network technologies: TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, PKI (TLS), network security
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools: GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipeline
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Redis
  • Experience with monitoring tools: Zabbix, Grafana, PagerDuty, Sentry
  • Deep understanding of Git and experience with GitLab, GitHub, and following best practices
  • Experience with dedicated servers and Proxmox virtualization
  • Experience with RabbitMQ configuration and clustering

Responsibilities:

  • Document research and development outcomes for internal reference and cross-functional collaboration
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD processes for applications
  • Build, configure, and manage virtualized and cloud-based environments
  • Install, upgrade, and patch software as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance
  • Optimize service performance to meet or exceed system benchmarks
  • Maintain infrastructure security, logging, and monitoring
  • Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reliability
  • Actively participate in team discussions to improve technical and operational processes
