Senior PHP / Node.js Engineer

QIT Software is looking for an experienced Senior PHP / Node.js Engineer who wants to be part of a global product team with a strong engineering culture and a modern tech stack. We have mature development processes, solid DevOps practices, and a strong focus on clean code and software quality. Hiring process:
1 - Pre-screen (up to 30 mins), 2 - Test task, 3- Technical interview (~30-45 mins), 4- Final interview

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP (Symfony or Laravel) and Node.js (both required)

- Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Saga Pattern, Event Sourcing, and CQRS is required.
- Solid understanding of microservice architecture
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tooling
- Skilled in writing tests and maintaining code quality
- English level B2 or higher for team communication

Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain microservices using PHP and Node.js
- Design and implement scalable APIs and internal services
- Contribute to technical decisions and architectural discussions
- Work on refactoring and improving the existing codebase
- Collaborate through code reviews and pair programming
- Follow and help improve CI/CD processes and testing standards
- Participate in TDD/BDD, A/B testing, and best practice adoption

Will be a plus:

- Experience with TypeScript
- Background in high-load or scalable systems
- Experience working in distributed, international teams
