BI Developer and Technical Support Associate

Job description:

  • Maintain, update, and expand our customer-facing dashboards and reports using SQL and Python.
  • Attend customer meetings alongside the customer success manager, providing necessary support and ensuring thorough documentation of discussions and follow-up actions.
  • Review customers’ current paper data collection forms, conduct research to understand their processes, and use our internal software to create digital versions of both the data collection and forms.

     

Responsibilities:

  • Take requirements from customer success manager and build out required dashboards or reports using SQL and Python.
  • Keep Jira kanban board updated with current task progress
  • Attend regular customer meetings alongside the customer success manager, providing support as needed.
  • Take detailed notes during meetings and draft follow-up emails.
  • Support customer success manager in executing items required by customers.
  • Review customers' current paper data collection forms (provided in PDF, Word, and Excel) to understand their processes.
  • Conduct research via Google and YouTube to understand the customers' physical processes and logic.
  • Create digital versions of data collection forms using our internal digital workflow creation software.
  • Design digital versions of data displays for these forms by specifying requirements for the dashboard/form creation team.

     

Requirements:

  • English (Intermediate or above)
  • SQL (Intermediate or above)
  • Python (Intermediate or above)
  • Able to work 8:00am - 12:00pm or later (Eastern Time Zone)
  • Technical degree in engineering, science or technology
  • Process-oriented
  • Enjoys and good at math/analytics
