Junior Node.js Developer

At Red Rocket Software, we are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Junior Node.js Developer who has already completed his first real projects and is ready to develop in a team of experienced engineers. You will be working on the backend of modern web applications, solving interesting problems and improving your development skills.

What to do:

• Contribute to the development of server-side application logic using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Work with the Express or NestJS frameworks.
• Integrate external APIs, databases and third party services.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Debug, test and enhance existing functionality.
• Work with front-end developers and designers.
• Work with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL).
• Participate in planning and architecture discussions.

What we expect:

• 6 months or more of backend development experience in Node.js.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills.
• Understanding of REST principles, working with databases, permissions.
• Experience with Express or NestJS.
• Git skills and experience with version control systems.
• At least B2 level of English (verbal and written communication).
• Willingness to learn and improve skills, responsibility and initiative.
