We've built our MVP in 2023, confirmed the hypothesis with several clients, and are now building the v1 from ground-up. We’re a small, hyper-focused team.

We need a very experienced QA engineer who's comfortable taking on the job of leading the QA efforts in our team. You'll start from manual testing and will eventually get into writing automated tests.

You’ll be autonomous. You’ll define the QA strategy, and you’ll execute on it.

About You:

- You're very technical

- You've tested truly complex technical products in the past

- You're very detail-oriented and process-oriented

- You're not afraid to work in ambiguity and manage your own work

- You love working in small, efficient teams

- You're very flexible and open-minded

- You will do both manual QA and establish automated QA

- You know how to leverage AI and open to learning to leveraging AI to generate lots of E2E Playwright tests

- Your conversational English is good (although most of your teammates will be Ukrainian)

If your whole career was working at large companies with large QA departments, this is NOT a job for you. At MustardHub, you'll be the one-man show ensuring the quality of all of the work our small team produces, for the foreseeable future.

 Our Tech Stack:

- React, Typescript, Tailwind

- Nest.js, Postgres, GraphQL/Apollo

- ClickUp and whatever QA tools you decide are necessary

We're based in Austin, TX (US) but the development team is all remote. The other team members are in Ukraine and the rest of Eastern Europe. You're expected to have at least a few hours overlap with the CDT timezone each day.
