Automation QA Engineer / SDET

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team!

Requirements:

- Strong experience in Test automation for Web applications (both frontend and backend).
- Expert-level understanding of API testing, including REST, gRPC, and WebSocket.
- Proficiency in Python 3.x and solid knowledge of OOP principles.
- Experience designing and building test frameworks (PageObject, PageFactory, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium.
- Good understanding of QA theory and test design techniques, especially for UI and API testing (optional for AI-centric services).
- Practical experience with Docker and containerized environments.
- Knowledge and experience with performance testing tools, such as Locust, JMeter, K6 or other
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitLab CI.
- Working knowledge of *nix-based systems.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
- Striving to grow in the AI domain and test next-generation intelligent systems.

Will be plus:
- Experience with additional programming languages such as GO, JavaScript/TypeScript, or bash, to broaden testing capabilities across different technology stacks.
- Previous experience testing AI-driven applications (e.g., chatbots, NLP systems etc.).
- Exposure to Kubernetes and cloud-native environments.
- Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, etc.).
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., Locust, JMeter, k6).
- Experience with Grafana or other monitoring tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities:

- Work collaboratively with team members to design and upkeep automated test scripts using Python and OOP principles;
- Create and sustain testing frameworks and test infrastructure for your project;
- Conduct thorough manual and automated testing of WEB applications (API/UI/Load);
- Prioritize a strong commitment to quality assurance, including the identification and resolution of defects;
- Provide guidance and support to creators of test cases, packages, and plans to ensure comprehensive test coverage;
- Collaborate closely with CI/CD pipelines, particularly in a GitLab CI environment, to automate test execution;
- Contribute actively to problem-solving efforts aimed at identifying and resolving testing-related issues.
