Middle Node.JS Developer to $1100

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Middle Node.js Developer to join our full-time team. You will be responsible for developing and supporting the server-side of our innovative applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a Node.JS developer with a strong understanding of backend development to create meaningful products in a fast-paced environment.
 

Responsibilities

• Develop and support Node.JS services using Fastify or similar framework.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, building business logic.
• Write scalable, reliable, and well-tested code in TypeScript.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases: creating, optimizing queries, and designing schemas.
• Integrate with third-party APIs, services, and payment systems.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Participate in architecture planning, technical discussions, and code reviews.
   

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial experience with Node.JS and a deep understanding of the technology.
• Knowledge of TypeScript.
• Ability to work effectively with PostgreSQL, knowledge of indexing, transactions, and query optimization.
• Understanding of the asynchronous model, event loops, and error handling.
• Experience with Git, Docker, RESTful APIs, and writing documentation (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI).
• Ability to work in a team, communicate transparently, and meet deadlines.
   

Bonus Points

• Experience with Fastify
• Experience with Drizzle ORM, Prisma or TypeORM.
• Experience in building multi-user systems with authorization (JWT, OAuth2).
• Experience with GCP cloud providers or others (AWS, Azure).
• Experience in writing integrations with various services (Google Maps, Stripe, etc.)
