QA Automation Engineer

QA Engineer – Remote

We’re looking for a QA Engineer who’s confident in automation, fluent in Python, and passionate about building reliable systems. If you're comfortable with both functional and non-functional testing, and enjoy turning test cases into clean, repeatable scripts — this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be responsible for defining and implementing end-to-end test strategies for our healthcare tech platform. Your focus will include automated testing, performance/load testing, and ensuring system reliability through well-structured test plans and frameworks.

Your Core Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and run automated test scripts using Playwright, pytest, and requests
• Design and execute performance and load tests using locust and JMeter
• Define, manage, and execute functional and non-functional test suites
• Document and manage test cases and test data
• Collaborate with developers to integrate QA processes into CI/CD
• Ensure quality standards are met across the platform

You’re Probably a Match If You Have

• Proficiency in Python 3.x for automation and scripting
• Solid experience with Playwright, pytest, and requests
• Experience using locust for non-functional testing (NFT)
• Familiarity with JMeter for load/performance testing
• Strong understanding of functional and non-functional testing principles
• Ability to design and maintain comprehensive test suites and detailed test cases

• Clear documentation habits and a test-to-break mindset

   

Nice to Have

• Experience with TestOps practices and platforms
• Understanding or hands-on with BDD frameworks (like Behave, Cucumber)
• Experience working in healthcare or highly regulated industries
