Senior Golang Developer

We are looking for a Senior Golang Developer to join our team.

What we expect from the candidate:

• Proven expertise in Go, including advanced skills in developing high-performance applications.
• Experience in building APIs and a strong understanding of RESTful design principles.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging queues.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming concepts.
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming principles is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment.
• Familiarity with Laravel, PHP, or JavaScript is desirable but not necessary.

Your position will include:

• Develop and maintain high-performance applications in Go.
• Build APIs that are robust, scalable, and well-documented.
• Consistently write clean, understandable code using best programming practices.
• Integrate and consume events from messaging systems such as Kafka effectively.
• Implement asynchronous execution strategies to enhance application performance and scalability.
• Abide by coding principles like KISS, DRY, and SOLID despite certain language-specific nuances.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and refine project scopes.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing codebases for improved efficiency and performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
