Position Overview
We're seeking a skilled TypeScript/Python Engineer with expertise in social media integration, scraping, and automation to join our technical team. In this role, you'll develop robust systems that collect, process, and analyze social media data—particularly from Twitter/X—to power our AI-driven solutions. You'll work closely with our AI Process Engineers to build the technical infrastructure that enables intelligent agentic workflows for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Twitter/X API integrations and data collection systems Develop sophisticated scraping solutions that ethically collect relevant social media data
- Create and maintain n8n workflows for social
media data processing and automation
- Build robust data processing pipelines that feed into our AI systems
Implement error handling, rate limiting, and other safeguards for production-ready systems
- Optimize performance of data collection and processing systems
Deploy and maintain solutions using Replit, GitHub, and other development platforms
- Collaborate with AI engineers to ensure data systems meet the needs of LLM applications
- Document technical implementations and create system architecture diagrams
- Research and implement emerging technologies and methods for social
media integration
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python for backend development
- Demonstrated experience with Twitter/X API integration or similar social media platforms
- Working knowledge of web scraping techniques and relevant libraries/frameworks
- Experience building automation workflows with n8n, Make.com, Zapier, or similar tools
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON data structures
- Knowledge of data processing and ETL concepts
- Experience with version control using GitHub
- Understanding of rate limiting, proxy management, and ethical scraping practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with social media monitoring systems and analytics
- Knowledge of browser automation tools (Puppeteer, Playwright, Selenium)
- Familiarity with proxy management for high-volume scraping operations
- Understanding of OAuth protocols and authentication systems
- Experience with data storage solutions (SQL, NoSQL, vector databases)
- Background in NLP or text processing techniques
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud deployment
- Knowledge of LLMs and how they consume structured data
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
