Systems Engineering Lead (Latvia, Lithuania or ready for relocation)
Location: Latvia, Lithuania or ready for relocation.
As a Systems Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading teams that work on complex systems engineering solutions for customers. Design & develop engineering systems associated with physical products including feature functionality, engineering architecture, system integrations, simulations, and test methods. Oversee feature plan implementation and design failure mode effect analysis (DFMEA). Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. Responsible for team decisions. Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Expert proficiency in Site Reliability Engineering is required. Expert level of proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) is recommended.
DevOps, Terraform, Python (Programming Language), and Kubernetes with Expert proficiency are suggested skills.
Requirements:
• 2+ years' experience as a Python developer
• Experience in object-oriented programming concepts, unit & integration testing, web architecture and application servers.
• Understanding and experience with AWS serverless technologies.
• ec2, EKS (Kubernetes), VPC, transit gateway, private link.
• Fundamental Linux
• Experience in IaC (CloudFormation and/or Terraform)
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and container technology is essential
• Good understanding and experience of container technologies (Docker)
• CI/CD pipeline development experience (Azure DevOps or similar)
• May have AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification or equivalent
