Full-stack Software Engineer to $3500
Company Overview:
Aiden (https://getaiden.com/) is an early-stage startup revolutionizing property management through AI-driven solutions. We are passionate about leveraging technology to streamline processes, enhance user experiences, and drive innovation in the real estate industry.
Position Overview:
Founded in May 2024, we successfully built the first version of our product and rolled it out with pilot clients at the end of the Summer. Since then, we have been maturing our product and rolling it out with more pilot clients that we're working closely with in order to roll-out their full portfolio by the end of the year (target ~25k apartments).
We're opening our next position, as we're entering a next phase of growth with those client and have the following product/engineering milestones on our list:
- Designing and implementing a scalable architecture to connect our solution to ERP systems in the industry and doing the first integrations to cover the most popular systems in the market.
- Start building or integrating steps for powerful process automation for the resolution processes of the tickets that come in through our assistant.
- Mature our CRM system with features like template management, a tenant portal, a task manager etc.
In order to reach those, we are looking for a mid-level or senior full-stack engineer who is excited to work on an early-stage industry-changing AI product to join our small engineering team.
As an AI company ourselves, we experiment a lot with tools like Co-Pilot and Cursor to empower us to bring great features to our clients faster. The right person for this job ideally has experience using these types of tools and is able to use them to their advantage, while accounting for their weaknesses.
Our stack:
- BE: Node with Typescript with Adonis
- DB: Postgres
- FE: Typescript with Vue 3 and Inertia
- AI: OpenAI models hosted on Azure
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the co-founder and our first software engineers to design, develop, and test new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for back-end and front-end.
- Develop and maintain the right amount of automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the application without hindering development efficiency.
- Design simple and efficient solutions that lay the foundation for connecting our application to others in the ecosystem.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of working experience as a software engineer.
- Extensive experience with typescript, relational databases and a modern FE framework like Vue, React or Angular.
- Experience building API integrations with external software.
- You have a good understanding of software design patterns and strive to implement simple, efficient solutions.
- You’re able to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being capable of managing tasks independently.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to have:
- Experience building software that uses LLMs to drive automation.
- Experience building conversational/chat applications.
- Experience building project management applications, ticketing systems or telephony systems.
