Full-Stack Engineer Offline

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Principal Engineer to lead the design and development of modern, scalable systems at the intersection of healthtech and cloud infrastructure. In this role, you’ll drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and deliver systems that directly impact healthcare providers and millions of patients.

 

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Architecture

  • Lead large-scale, high-impact projects across front-end and back-end systems
  • Architect resilient microservices using Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript
  • Design and optimize event-driven systems using Kafka and Temporal (or similar)
  • Oversee infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and secure API layers (OAuth, HIPAA-ready)

 

Full-Stack Development

  • Build intuitive UIs with React (or similar) and responsive design principles
  • Develop scalable back-end APIs and database logic with PostgreSQL
  • Apply TDD and modern engineering best practices for maintainable, testable code

 

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion engineering excellence
  • Partner with Product, QA, and cross-functional stakeholders to shape roadmaps
  • Communicate complex technical decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Foster a culture of learning, inclusion, and continuous improvement

 

You Might Be a Fit If You Have

  • 6+ years of full-stack experience with strong system design skills
  • Expert-level knowledge of Node.js, React, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Temporal or similar orchestration tools (e.g., Cadence, Airflow)
  • Track record of owning and delivering end-to-end technical initiatives
  • Familiarity with compliance and security standards (e.g., HIPAA)
