QA Engineer – Crypto Project

Job Overview:
We're seeking a QA Engineer who understands the crypto ecosystem and can rigorously test decentralized features on the Crypto Exchange platform. The ideal candidate will have experience with Cardano, smart contract behavior, crypto transactions, and NFT workflows, as well as the ability to automate test suites across web and API layers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute end-to-end test cases for blockchain-based features (wallets, token transfers, NFT minting, staking).
• Understand and validate Cardano transactions including UTXOs, metadata, and multi-asset support.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks for frontend (React), backend (PHP/Node), and APIs.
• Simulate real-world edge cases like pending transactions, insufficient balances, and smart contract failures.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and enforce test-driven workflows.
• Track and verify bug reports across environments (dev, staging, prod).
• Monitor wallet behaviors and ensure accurate display of crypto/NFT balances and transaction histories.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in QA or software testing (3+ years preferred).
• Solid understanding of cryptocurrency concepts: wallets, private/public keys, gas/fees, block confirmations, staking.
• Familiar with Cardano architecture or other UTXO-based blockchains.
• Ability to work with tools like Postman, Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium for automated and manual testing.
• Comfortable reading and writing basic scripts in JS or Python for automation.
• Knowledge of NFT lifecycles, including minting, transfers, burning, and metadata validation.
• Experience using Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience testing DeFi or NFT dApps.
• Familiarity with Lucid, Blockfrost, Cardano CLI, or similar tooling.
• Ability to read smart contract logic or interact with on-chain data.
