We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the highest level of product and process quality across our operations. This role is critical in supporting compliance, maintaining product standards, and improving overall customer satisfaction.

Requirements: 

✔️Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Nutrition,or Microbiology.
✔️2 years in QA/QC, regulatory, or manufacturing in dietary supplements, food, pharmaceuticals, or cosmetics.
✔️Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), OOS investigations, change control, and reviewing quality documents (COAs, GMP certificates, product specs).
✔️Lab Testing Coordination: ability to manage third-party lab testing, handle OOS result reporting, and oversee lab-related administrative tasks.
✔️Document Management: strong organizational skills for managing and reviewing quality documentation (e.g., COAs, BOMs, finished product specs).
✔️Regulatory Compliance: knowledge of FDA and Health Canada labeling regulations to ensure compliance in listings, labels and packaging product claims.
✔️Communication: strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with manufacturers, labs, and internal teams.
✔️Attention to Detail & Organization: ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
✔️Problem-solving: strong analytical skills for troubleshooting quality and compliance issues.

Responsibilities:

📌 PRODUCT QUALITY SUPPORT:
▪️Assist with out-of-specification (OOS) and non-conformance investigations by gathering data from manufacturers and third-party labs.
▪️Track and maintain quality agreements with manufacturers, ensuring proper documentation and filing.
▪️Support change control processes by maintaining logs and records of updates.
▪️Collect, review, and systematically store quality documents (COAs, test results, product specifications, GMP certificates).
▪️Ensure all production batches undergo required testing per company policies and agreements.
▪️Serve as the primary QA contact for team members, manufacturers, and labs.
▪️Approve final product releases.
▪️Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure product quality and consistency from batch to batch.


📌 LAB TESTING COORDINATION (AMAZON, 3RD PARTY, NSF, PRODUCT CERTIFICATION):
▪️Research and coordinate third-party lab testing, including obtaining quotes, submitting samples, and tracking progress.
▪️Assist in managing OOS result reporting and compiling data for QA Manager review.
▪️Handle lab-related administrative tasks, including processing invoices, updating internal spreadsheets, and communicating testing schedules with the supply chain team.


📌DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT:
▪️Collect, organize, and review all quality-related documentation, including Raw Materials COAs, organic certifications, Finished Production specifications, and Bill Of Materials, quality agreements and GMP certificates.
▪️Assist in gathering and reviewing finished product specifications for new product launches.
▪️Create and file finished product specifications for new products (custom formulas).
▪️Ensure compliance documentation is properly maintained and up to date.

📌LISTING&LABEL COMPLIANCE REVIEW:
▪️Conduct label, listing and packaging compliance reviews, ensuring alignment with FDA and Health Canada regulations.
