TMetric started as a powerful yet simple time tracking solution, serving companies, agencies, consultants, and freelancers. Today, we are rapidly expanding beyond time tracking into Payroll, Billing&Invoicing, helping businesses seamlessly convert tracked time into invoices, streamline client billing, and simplify payroll calculations.  

With seamless cross-platform accessibility (web, desktop, and mobile) and a strong market presence, we are scaling TMetric to become the go-to tool for time tracking, payroll, and financial workflow automation.

You will become part of a dynamic team of professionals who are deeply passionate about our product. Our team consists of a Project Manager, Product Owner, two QA Engineers, two Designers, a Technical Writer, a Software Architect, a Markup Developer, a .NET Team Lead, and a Customer Support Specialist — each playing a pivotal role in driving our success.

Your future challenges  

You'll dive into a fast-moving project that’s always on the go, never hitting pause. By teaming up with a passionate crew, you'll help define what the product will look like in the future. Your responsibilities will include designing and building robust, scalable backend solutions, optimizing database performance for efficiency, and crafting modern, intuitive, and user-friendly UIs. You’ll also develop secure, high-performance APIs and ensure seamless integration with other platforms and services. Each day will bring new challenges — from time and project management tasks today to tackling invoicing or the day-off module tomorrow.  

Impact you will make  

The .NET Developer will work within the software development team to build new features and maintain existing ones using .NET technologies. This includes writing clean, well readable, maintainable, and efficient code, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and collaborating closely with all members of development team and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.  
 

• Work closely with stakeholders to document business requirements, define user stories, and contribute to the planning and execution. 
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless implementation of UI/UX functionality, aligning with product vision and user needs. 
• Verify requirements provided by a product management team and/or other stakeholders. 
• Take part in preparing and prioritization of refactoring plans. 
• Provide L3 support for clients (if applicable). 
• Decompose complex tasks to archivable work items. 
• Keep sprints workloads in actual state. 
• Implement features of any level of complexity. 
• Design tests (unit, integration, etc.) 
• Conduct researches while accepting features for implementation, decompose features in subtasks, providing express and actual estimates for issues. 
• In collaboration with HoE and SA, design and implement architectural solutions within a project. 
• Deliver features for testing and provide consultations to QA team during feature verification activities. 
• Conduct code reviews.  
   

Skills we are looking for  

• At least 5 years of experience in .NET, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment. 
• Higher education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications will be a plus. 
• Deep knowledge and understanding of .NET and C#. 
• Deep knowledge and understanding of OOP and OOD (including but not limited to SOLID and GoF design patterns). 
• Experience with frontend technologies (e.g., JavaScript, frameworks - React/Angular). 
• Deep knowledge and understanding of data structures. 
• Good algorithmic basis. 
• Experience with relational databases, knowledge of SQL. 
• Experience with VCS (git preferred) 
• Knowledge and understanding of issues lifecycle. 
• Knowledge of approaches and methods of tasks estimation and decomposition. 
• Experience with ALM systems (Jira preferred) 
• Experience with knowledge bases (Confluence preferred) 
• Understanding of basic principles of CI/CD processes, experience with CI systems (Jenkins preferred). 
• Understanding principles and values of SCRUM. 
• Experience with ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and RESTful API development.
