Junior Application Engineer for Power Products

Atlas Magnetics, Co. is an international semiconductor company with headquarter in the United States. The growing team of silicon, hardware, software, and materials engineers working on creating products with integrated magnetics that are far more cost and size-effective than existing solutions. Now we are looking for a Junior Application Engineer to become an integral part of the AM’s Power Products Group.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As an Application Engineer your work will be very important to the power business success. 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Working with cross-functional teams including product definition, IC design and testing.

• Benchmarking of power semiconductor devices including competitive analysis.

• Supporting Design Teams by running bench evaluation and required tests.

• Creating Python scripts for bench evaluation tests.

• Developing Evaluation Boards including PCB Design and Component Selection.

• Creating technical documentation and reports.

Required Skills and Experience

Must possess/demonstrate the following:

• Strong analog and digital electronics engineering fundamentals.

• Knowledge of DC-DC, Load (Power) Switches and PMICs basics.

• Experience with setting up and using lab equipment.

• Good soldering skills.

• Able to manage time efficiently and complete tasks on schedule.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Recommended/Desired Skills:

• Software development experience in C and/or Python.

• Good PCB Design skills and knowledge of layout basics.
