DevOps Engineer

Enamine is one of the major chemical R&D product and service providers for the world pharma and agro-industry. We have well developed IT landscape, which includes both out-of-the-box systems purchased from the leading IT solutions suppliers as well as our own in-house created software and specific chemical products. As a part of strategic IT improvement initiative, we are looking for DevOps Engineer.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build tools and automation to help us maintain, monitor, and work with our infrastructure and services
• Manage on-prem infrastructure
• Set up monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect and respond to system issues
• Implement security best practices and compliance measures for infrastructure and applications
• Manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) to optimize resource allocation, cost efficiency, and system performance

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:

• 5+ years experience in DevOps, infrastructure(both cloud & on-prem), and automation
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS
• Deep understanding of Linux OS
• DBs we a working with: MySQL, ProsgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB
• Strong knowledge of logging and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Strong proficiency with Docker, Docker swarm and Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket pipelines, GitLab CI/CD etc.)
• Good understanding of networking: subnetting, HTTP, DNS, TLS, OSI Model
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices, as well as software architecture
• The desire to take a high level of ownership of the things you work on
