Lead Automation QA Engineer - Mobile

Fetii is the fastest growing Group Rideshare startup in the US – essentially we're Uber for groups. YC and Mark Cuban invested into Fetii, and in 2024 alone, we transported over 1.5 million passengers; currently moving over 200,000 passengers each month.

We're a relatively small tech team, we're growing REALLY fast, and we need a lot of testing.

We need a very experienced automated QA engineer who's comfortable taking on the job of leading the QA efforts in our team. You'll start from manual testing and will quickly get into writing automated E2E tests for our mobile applications.

The product is primarily 4 applications: iOS and Android Riders apps, and iOS and Android Driver apps; also a web admin panel that won't need to be covered with tests soon yet. The product is fairly sophisticated with a LOT of variations of how things work depending on how things are set up in the web admin panel.

You will be the only and primary QA for now. As we grow, we expect to be adding more QA to the team.

About You:

- You're very technical. You'll figure out how to start a local environment of a Laravel project

- You've tested truly complex technical products in the past

- You've tested native mobile applications before

- You're very detail-oriented and process-oriented

- You're not afraid to work in ambiguity and manage your own work

- You love working in small, efficient teams

- You're very flexible and open-minded

- You will do both manual QA and establish automated QA

- You know how to leverage AI and open to learning to leveraging AI to generate lots of E2E tests

- Your conversational English is good – you'll be talking primarily in English (only some team members speak Ukrainian)

You'll be reporting to the Tech Lead located in Ukraine; you'll be interacting with some development team members located in India; every once in a while you might have meetings with people in the US.
