Full-Stack Developer (Next.js + Python) to $2000

We're looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer who treats Next.js not just as a framework, but as their favorite environment for building modern, scalable web applications. You should be confident working on both the frontend and backend, with strong skills in Python.


1. Next.js (High Priority)

• Strong experience with Next.js v13+, especially using the App Router (app/, layout.tsx, page.tsx)
• Solid understanding of SSR, SSG, and ISR strategies
• Experience with API Routes and Middleware
• Confident with getServerSideProps, getStaticProps, getStaticPaths
• Able to build and manage both client and server components
• Performance tuning, rendering strategies, caching, and SEO optimization

2. JavaScript / TypeScript

• Proficient in both JavaScript and TypeScript
• Comfortable with asynchronous programming (async/await, Promises)
• Strong grasp of ES6+ features (destructuring, arrow functions, modules, etc.)

3. React.js

• Deep understanding of React principles
• Strong with React Hooks: useState, useEffect, useContext, useMemo, useCallback
• Component-based architecture and state management
• Understanding of component lifecycle

4. Python (Required)

• Experience writing backend logic, scripts, and APIs
• Familiar with one or more frameworks: FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Able to integrate Python backends with frontend applications

5. Authentication

• Experience with NextAuth.js or custom authentication flows
• Familiarity with JWT, cookies, and route protection

6. Data Handling

• API integration using Fetch or Axios
• Experience with REST and/or GraphQL
• Familiarity with headless CMS: Strapi, Sanity, or Contentful

7. Styling

• Experience with Tailwind CSS (preferred)
• Comfortable with CSS Modules, styled-components, or Emotion
• Strong skills in responsive UI development

8. Performance & SEO

• Image optimization using next/image, lazy loading
• Structured data markup
• Metadata management with next/head and metadata API

9. Development & Deployment

• Familiarity with code quality tools: ESLint, Prettier, Husky
• Testing experience with Jest, React Testing Library
• Deployment to Vercel, Netlify, or using Docker
• Environment configuration with .env files and environment variables

✅ Required Experience:

• 2+ years of commercial development experience
• Proven ability to work across both frontend and backend stacks
