Junior DevOps

The build has failed, droplets’ CPU is at 95%. Sounds like an easy task for you?

You are the mastermind of logic, containers overseer, and flows superintendent. You like to build something reliable and scalable that would work until the end of the world. You love automating, enhancing, optimizing, and striving to achieve efficiency in everything you do. If so, then we've both could fit. We're looking for someone who would help us to take care of the development automation, deployment, and integration processes for our clients.

We are a team of 60+ designers, strategists, and engineers. These are professionals who are passionate about human behavior, and splendid working functional visuals. Our values are to deliver excellent results to our Customers and to maintain high-quality results in the design industry. It is a great chance to join our team now!

Who you are:

  • You understand infrastructure automation, cloud services, and tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm);
  • You can develop infrastructure manifests: docker file / Github workflow / k8s entities, helm charts;
  • You worked with CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab CI / Github actions);
  • You worked with application operations lifecycle (rollbacks, backups, versioning);
  • You're a naturally empathetic problem solver (because you build technology for humans, of course);
  • You are ready to self-educate and learn things from above rapidly, still delivering the result in time.

Additional stars if:

  • You develop apps for the web before (pet projects welcome);
  • You have skills in scripting/programming language (bash);
  • Experience working with cloud service provider managed services (AWS / GCP / Azure / Digital Ocean);
  • Experience working with Harbor / Prometheus stack / Ingress controllers / Vault;
  • Databases experience: MongoDB / MySQL / PostgreSQL / Redis / RabbitMQ;
  • Experience with development instrumentation: Sentry / Sonarqube;
  • Speaking English to talk to a client.

We welcome your willingness to develop your skills in CI/CD and engineering practices. We could guide, share our knowledge, and support you in the journey to a true system reliability engineer.

As a DevOps engineer, you'll:

  • Operate and maintain dev, stage, and production environments both in house and for our customers;
  • Improve and develop current change and release processes per client infrastructure;
  • Local dev environments troubleshooting and support;
  • Automate routine DevOps activities;
  • Maintain the existing release process under CTO supervision;
  • Maintain monitoring, log, and error reporting systems.

Here are some examples of tasks you would be doing, under CTO supervision:

“Define the issue why deployments are failing on the project “Securely integrate secrets from internal Vault into the existing deployment pipeline” “Set up QA environment on Digital Ocean for the internal team”
