DevOps (IT Operations Specialist)

We are looking for an IT Operations Specialist to join our team and work for our client to play a vital role in maintaining and supporting our client’s IT infrastructure.
Our client is a successful European low-cost airline offering flights to popular destinations in a cost-efficient manner. The company operates on European as well as the US market with destinations in North America. The company’s strategy is to use the most innovative ways to optimize services and costs due to that it increases its revenue year to year.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA) preferred.
• 3+ years of IT operations experience, ideally in the transportation or airline industry.
• Proficiency in operating systems (Windows mostly, some iOS, Mac), networking, server maintenance, hardware support, SharePoint, Office 365, Intune etc.
• Proven experience in supporting cloud platforms such as Azure, PowerShell, Entra etc
• Proactive critical thinker and good problem-solver as well as a great team player
Responsibilities:
• To collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth technical operations
• Provide first-line support for hardware, software, network, and system issues for employees and clients including equipment maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner via in-person, email, phone, or remote support.
• Access control management in Active directory for onboarding of new employees
• Perform routine maintenance on IT systems, ensuring all hardware and software are up-to-date and functioning optimally.
• Assist in training staff on IT best practices and use of company systems.
• Maintain accurate records of issues, resolutions, and IT assets using the company’s ticketing system.
• Work with other IT team members to support large-scale projects, upgrades, and deployments.
• Monitor and enforce IT security protocols, ensuring compliance with company policies.
