C++/Machine Learning Engineer

As a member of our team, you will participate in research & development of solutions in the field of handwriting recognition using cutting-edge machine learning approaches. The position will involve different aspects of R&D including – research, analysis, prototyping, development and commercialization.  By joining the team you’ll be able to affect millions of users of the world’s most advanced Samsung devices.
 

Main Requirements:
 

• BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science/ SW Engineering or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• 3+ years of professional experience in commercial software S/W development as a Software Engineer
• Strong knowledge of C++
• Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
• Passion for quality and writing clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well
• Familiarity with the development of multithreaded applications
• Experience in implementing machine learning algorithms, data processing, NN model performance measuring using C++
• Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to adjust to rapidly changing environment
• Good written and spoken English
   

As a plus:
 

• Experience in building production-level AI systems
• Experience/background with TensorFlow or PyTorch for ML models prototyping (visual and/or data series recognition)
• Knowledge and experience in Python development
• Deployment of machine learning models to work on mobile devices
• Experience with OpenCV or similar libraries
• Ability to rapidly create prototypes
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve the issue
• Cross-platform development skills (Linux/Windows/Android)
