Requirements

— Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
— 1-3 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related field.
— Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
— Familiarity with testing methodologies such as functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
— Basic knowledge of manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman).
— Understanding of defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
— Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test plans.
— Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) is a plus.
— Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
— Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
— Attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality assurance.

Responsibilities

— Execute manual test cases and report defects using defect tracking tools.
— Assist in developing and maintaining test cases, test scripts, and test data.
— Work closely with developers and product teams to understand feature requirements.
— Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
— Document test results and assist in troubleshooting issues.
— Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on usability and functionality.
— Learn and contribute to automated testing frameworks over time.
— Stay updated with QA best practices and emerging testing tools.
— Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
— Support in root cause analysis and suggest improvements for bug prevention.
