DevOps Engineer — Microservices / Kubernetes / Kafka

We're looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our backend-heavy, microservice-driven team. You'll be the backbone of our infrastructure, helping us scale, automate, and deploy products built on a modern stack including NestJS, Kafka, MongoDB, Redis, Neo4j, and Kubernetes.

You'll work closely with backend engineers to ensure smooth CI/CD processes, resilient infrastructure, and optimal performance for our microservices architecture. If you're comfortable managing cloud-native applications and love building reliable, scalable systems — this one's for you.

🧰 Tech Stack:

  • NestJS (Node.js) microservices
  • Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, Neo4j
  • Docker, Kubernetes
  • GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / or other CI/CD tools
  • Cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure — any is a plus)

✅ Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Manage Dockerized services across Kubernetes clusters
  • Monitor and optimize service health, performance, and uptime
  • Set up logging, alerting, and observability tools
  • Collaborate with backend teams on infrastructure-related needs
  • Ensure secure and scalable deployments

💼 Requirements:

  • Solid experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
  • Experience with message brokers like Kafka
  • Proficiency with MongoDB, Redis, and ideally Neo4j
  • Familiarity with microservice architectures and Node.js environments (NestJS is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure as code, scripting (Bash, Python), and monitoring

  • Hands-on with Terraform or other IaC tools
  • Experience with real-time data pipelines
  • Familiarity with security best practices in containerized environments
