About the project:

Technical Requirements:
● 6+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years of Python development;
● Hands-on experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch, including relevance tuning;
● Proficiency with distributed computation frameworks like DASK;
● Strong experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases;
● Strong experience with Django, FastAPI, AWS or Azure;
● Experience implementing caching solutions using Redis or equivalent technologies;
● Demonstrated ability to design clean, efficient APIs following RESTful principles;
● Knowledge of pub-sub messaging patterns and event-driven architectures.

Architecture & Design Skills:
● 3+ years architecting distributed systems with focus on search and data retrieval;
● Experience designing loosely coupled systems that balance performance and cost;
● Ability to create comprehensive technical designs with clear trade-off analysis;
● Knowledge of search ranking algorithms and retrieval optimization techniques.

DevOps & Collaboration:
● Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks;
● Understanding of containerization and cloud deployment models;
● Strong team collaboration skills;
● Ability to work effectively with product and business stakeholders.

Qualifications:
● BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience;
● Strong problem-solving skills and algorithmic thinking;
● Experience with agile development methodologies;
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What you will do:
● Design and develop scalable search and retrieval systems using Python;
● Architect and implement RESTful APIs for search functionality and data access;
● Build distributed data processing pipelines using DASK or similar frameworks;
● Optimize search performance, relevance, and system efficiency;
● Implement caching strategies using Redis to enhance system performance
