Manual / Automation QA Engineer (JavaScript)

About Us:

LeadTower.io is an ambitious SaaS startup helping businesses automate LinkedIn outreach and sales. We are scaling fast and looking for a proactive QA Engineer who feels comfortable working both manually and writing automated test cases in JavaScript.

This is a key role for us — we want someone who can own the testing process end-to-end: from manual functional testing to building and maintaining automated tests for our backend and frontend systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manual testing of web application (functional, UI/UX, exploratory, regression)

• Writing and maintaining test cases and test documentation

• Preparing and executing test plans

• Writing automated tests using JavaScript (preferred frameworks — Playwright / Cypress / Jest / or similar)

• API testing (Postman / automated tests)

• Creating automation test suites for smoke / regression testing

• Reporting bugs and tracking them through the lifecycle

• Collaboration with developers, product managers, and the whole team

• Actively participating in improving QA processes

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial experience in QA (manual + automation combined)

• Experience in web application testing

• Experience with JavaScript-based automation tools (Playwright / Cypress / Jest / or similar)

• API testing experience (manual and automated)

• Strong understanding of testing processes and SDLC

• Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Trello, or similar)

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Basic knowledge of Git

• Intermediate+ English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with backend/API automation tests

• Experience with CI/CD test pipelines

• Experience in startup environment or small product teams

• Understanding of microservices architecture

• Experience with Docker
