Cloud DevOps/SRE Engineer for Next Gen EVO (Gaming & Betting Platform)

Description:

Next Gen EVO is seeking a seasoned Cloud DevOps/SRE Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. This role is instrumental in ensuring our cloud infrastructure is scalable, highly available, secure, and continuously optimized to support cutting-edge gaming and betting platforms. You’ll be working in a hybrid environment, managing critical aspects like automated deployments, incident response, and infrastructure security using modern tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipeline Development:

• Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

• Container Orchestration & GitOps:

• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes with Argo Flux for managing microservices and automated deployments.

• Cloud Infrastructure Management:

• Leverage Vexxhost Atmosphere’s OpenStack Magnum for container management and cloud resource optimization.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Use Terraform/Ansible to configure and provision scalable and reliable cloud environments.

• Monitoring & Incident Management:

• Deploy and manage monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace) to track uptime and performance.

• Develop incident response protocols with an MTTR target of ≤15 minutes.

• Security & Zero Trust:

• Integrate Keeper Security products (Keeper PAM, Connection Manager, Keeper Secrets, Keeper SSO) to enforce Zero Trust practices and ensure secure operations.

• Collaboration & Documentation:

• Work closely with development, QA, and product teams.

• Maintain thorough documentation and runbooks in Bitrix24 and other collaboration platforms.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Experience:

• 5+ years as a DevOps/SRE Engineer in fast-paced environments—gaming, betting, or SaaS preferred.

• Proven track record in managing cloud environments and automation through container orchestration and GitOps practices.

• Technical Proficiency:

• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with Vexxhost Atmosphere’s OpenStack Magnum (or equivalent) and public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Containerization & Orchestration: Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and using Argo Flux for GitOps.

• IaC Tools: Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible.

• Monitoring: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Dynatrace.

• Security: In-depth knowledge of Zero Trust frameworks and practical experience with Keeper Security tools.

• Scripting: Strong skills in Python, Bash, or similar.

• Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to use Bitrix24 for task management, workflow automation, and reporting.

• Preferred Attributes:

• Emphasis on practical, hands-on experience rather than academic degrees.

• Track record of successfully implementing CI/CD and automation in a production environment.
