Senior Fullstack engineer (Vue or React + Python)

Project Description:

German chemical concern headquartered in Ludwigshafen. The world's largest chemical company, the concern produces a wide range of products: plastic, paint, cosmetics, food additives, technical and construction chemicals, agrochemical plant protection products, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications with a focus on front-end technologies using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to convert wireframes and prototypes into functional user interfaces.
• Implement and optimize front-end frameworks and libraries such as React (or something different)
• Be capable to contribute in back-end support and APIs using Python
• Ensure responsiveness and performance of applications on various devices and browsers.
• Manage databases (SQL and NoSQL) and perform CRUD operations efficiently.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality.
• Utilize version control systems (Git) for source code management and collaborative development.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain high-quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to gather requirements and provide updates.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience of 5+ years with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React or Vue.js (Vue.js is a great advantage).
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Has experience in back-end support and APIs using Python
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience integrating them into applications
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques and best practices
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Ability to design front-end and back-end architecture.
• Good understanding of back-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Express, Django).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
