Android Application Developer

As a member of our team, you will be involved in research, design and development of application and algorithms in the domain of Health and Fitness. The position will involve different aspects of R&D including – research, analysis, prototyping and development. By joining the team you’ll be able to affects millions of users of the world’s most advanced Samsung devices.
 

Responsibilities:
 

• Implementation of new features in the project application (Mobile & Wear OS)
• Maintenance and feature enhancement for the data sampling and data collection
• Machine Learning models deployment and optimization of the ML models utilization
• Implementation of ML models post-processing algorithms
• Development of the framework for ML models testing and inference evaluation
• Research activities and strategic prototyping for future Samsung products
   

Major Requirements:
 

• Experience with Android application development of (Kotlin, Java) for mobile and wearable platforms
• Proficient in algorithms and data structures required
• Experience with object-oriented design and programming
• Experience in optimizing and integrating ML models into mobile apps
• Good technical English
   

As a plus:
 

• Experience with handling the data from different sensors of Wearable devices
• Experience with Profiling and Performance Monitoring (Perfetto, Systrace, etc)
• Knowledge and experience with Python
• Understanding the API of a modern machine learning framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Contests participation experience; papers, academic researches, patents
