Java Developer

Location: Hybrid from Kraków, Poland (2 days/week onsite)
 

About the Project

We’re looking for a skilled Java Developer to join a project for one of the world’s leading investment banks. You’ll be part of a collaborative, agile team focused on building high-performance financial solutions.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing reliable, scalable solutions in a Scrum environment
• Advising clients on the best technical approaches
• Mentoring junior developers
• Collaborating closely with the Team Leader

Must-Have Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Java 11+
• Strong experience with Spring / Spring Boot
• Proficient in Maven, Git, and Docker
• Solid experience with SQL, RDBMS/NoSQL, JPA/Hibernate
• Practical knowledge of integration techniques (REST, JMS/Kafka)
• Familiarity with multi-threaded programming
• Ability to write clean and effective unit and integration tests
• Excellent communication skills and client collaboration abilities
• Fluent English

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Cloud platforms
• Kubernetes
• CI/CD tools
• JIRA
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Experience working in distributed teams
