Manual QA Engineer (US product)

Remote full-time B2B contract position (CET work schedule).

 

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Manual QA Specialist to join our team. The  role will focus on ensuring the high-quality performance of our project platform.

You’ll be working on a US-based product that’s set to make a significant impact on the PropTech scene. This role offers the chance to contribute to a major market and collaborate with top talent in a dynamic environment.

Elevated Living has been improving the resident experience for over seven years. We created a single, all-in-one platform that makes it easy for property managers and resident staff to work together. Our goal is simple: to provide the best experience for residents by replacing multiple, confusing apps with one easy solution.

This is a stable, long-term project that continues to grow, and you'll have the chance to be part of its ongoing success.

Our primary technology stack revolves around JavaScript (React, Node.js,  React Native).

 

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer;
- Knowledge and understanding of the development process and software life cycle;
- Knowledge of testing methodologies
- Proficiency in manual Web/Mobile/API/Requirements testing;
- Familiarity with writing test documentation, requirements review, creating bug reports;
- Understanding certain marking/scripting/programming languages, required for the project (e.g. JSON, XML, HTML/CSS);
- English - upper-intermediate.

Additional (nice-to-have) skills:
Experience with Automated testing
Experience with CI/CD (Circle.ci, GH Actions).

 

Responsibilities:
- Analysis of requirements, preparing a query list based on those requirements;
- Writing and executing test cases to detect usability and performance issues;
- Conducting exploratory testing – simultaneous tests of design and functionality;
- Verification of multi-device and cross-platform consistency;
- Creating detailed reports and listing improvements;
- Participation in planning meetings and providing feedback to the team;
- Writing documentation.
