Java Web Developer

Samsung R&D Institute Ukraine is looking for a passionate and collaborative WEB Backend developer to join our team in Kyiv.

You will be involved in the development of various internal services providing security eco system.

     More specifically you will:
 

• design & develop services for security process management and security automation
• deploy and configure new security services and support existing ones
• participate in research activities and strategic prototyping for future Samsung products
   

     Major Requirements:
 

• 3+ years of commercial experience 
• strong in core Java 17 (Collections, Multithreading, Generics etc.) and Java frameworks (Spring 5+, Hibernate)
• strong in Frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, TypeScript) and Angular
• DB: commercial experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• commercial experience with test/build/integration frameworks (Gradle, JUnit, Mockito)
• experience with containerization tech. (Docker Image, Docker Compose)
• continuous integration systems experience (TeamCity)
• knowledge of AWS Cloud platform
• strong generic software engineering background (design patterns, OOP, standard SW dev. practices, classic architectures & tools)
• technical education (at least Bachelor degree in computer science or similar)
• English (writing / reading technical docs, communication at video conference calls with colleagues worldwide)
   

    Additional Requirements:
 

• cryptography knowledge
• basic knowledge of .NET, C\C++, Python
  
  Working Conditions:
