Front-end Architect

About the Role 
We are seeking an experienced Frontend Architect to have an opportunity to apply your extensive background in front‑end development and UI/UX design to evolve and optimize complex, scalable solutions for the FinTech industry across both web and mobile platforms. You will lead a team of front‑end developers, architect reusable UI components, and continuously improve our low code/no code systems to meet the evolving needs of financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and design scalable, reusable, and maintainable UI components for web using modern React and micro-frontend strategies, for mobile using React Native.
• Develop high‑quality, responsive, and performance‑optimized React components for web applications and React Native components for Android and iOS mobile apps tailored for enterprise FinTech solutions.
• Establish and enforce best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines that align with financial industry regulations and security/privacy standards.
• Lead performance tuning and optimization efforts using tools such as Lighthouse, Web Vitals, and React Profiler for web, and appropriate profiling tools for mobile performance.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to a team of front‑end developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive shared component library and design system to ensure consistency across our product suite on both web and mobile.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets/SignalR and other data services, ensuring seamless collaboration with backend and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure our interfaces meet technical and market requirements.
• Ensure our low code/no code systems are effectively integrated and continuously evolved to accelerate the design and adoption of FinTech solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in front‑end development with a proven record in large‑scale, enterprise applications.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with React.js, including deep expertise in hooks, lifecycle methods, state management (using Zustand, Redux, or Context API), and component architecture.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
• Extensive experience with build and bundling tools such as Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn, along with robust Git proficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate RESTful APIs, WebSockets/SignalR and GraphQL, develop node.js services, unify frontend and backend using such frameworks like Next.js.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles, with practical experience using design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library for web, as well as mobile testing strategies for React Native applications.
• Proven leadership in managing complex projects with a comprehensive understanding of both frontend and backend interactions.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding and prior experience with OAuth2 authentication/authorization
• Prior experience in the FinTech sector or with financial services products is highly desirable, including familiarity with security, compliance, and performance standards.
