Web Developer with Animation and Interactivity Offline

We are looking for a Web Developer with excellent communication and strong skills in Animations and Interactivity to work closely with the UI/UX Team to develop unique user experiences. This is a long-term contract, joining one of our U.S. based client’s Web Development Product Team. 

You will take part in working with a Web Application / CRM purposely built to empower small businesses by allowing customers to manage relationships and communicate with their users through many channels.

Time Zone: Able to work to accommodate core hours within the U.S. Time Zones

Ideal Candidates:

- Are Team Members that enjoy comradery and rapid pace startup environment

- Proficient in JavaScript, React/Next.js

- Have strong experience working with JQuery, JSON, CSS, HTML, and Bootstrap

- Knowledge of web technologies and UI/UX standards

- Experience working with WordPress and PHP is a huge plus

- Have proven experience developing resilient and scalable RESTful APIs

- Have experience integrating with 3rd Party APIs

- Proficient use of code versioning tools such as Git, BitBucket

- Work experience with AWS or another cloud service would be a plus

- Knowledge of CI/CD, TDD, and UI Testing Automation tools ( Selenium, etc )

- Experience with Project Management tools like Jira and knowledge of Agile and Scrum

Responsibilities:

- Understand Business Requirements, drive feature development conversations, and implement features according to design specifications

- Understands UI, cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards

- Implement highly professional animations on JavaScript in collaboration with Designers

- Develop code and adhere to best-practices for developing web applications

- Collaborate with all members of the Team to define, design, and deliver functionality

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of platform

- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

- Always learning and providing feedback to the Team on how it can improve the way it works and what it does to help create an amazing product!
