Senior Node.js Engineer

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in Node.js
• Work closely with product managers and designers to deliver robust, high-quality features
• Participate in architectural design and technical decision-making
• Refactor legacy code and help reduce technical debt
• Collaborate with team members through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing
• Take ownership of performance, monitoring, and reliability of backend services
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development and deployment pipelines

• Node.js (Express, Fastify, etc.)
• TypeScript (preferred)

• PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB

Messaging & APIs:

• Jest, Mocha, Postman

• A/B Testing

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js
• Strong understanding of REST API design and scalable architecture
• Solid experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (especially AWS)
• Proficiency in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• English proficiency at B1+ level (for daily communication)

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with TypeScript
• Background in distributed systems or high-load architectures
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture or serverless concepts
• Experience in a product company or startup environment
