Senior QA Engineer Offline

Our client needs in Senior QA Engineer on the project for an innovative service for customer insights, where users can test their advertising pitches, packaging, marketing strategies and other concepts related to products or services. The platform’s clients are large companies with global names, as well as small & medium businesses. We have been working with the client for over 4-5 years, and have developed a number of applications for marketing research, and also provide outstaffing services for their main product.

Key Responsibilities:
• Become a product expert and use it like a client, taking a continuous improvement
approach to the product.
• Take ownership of the end-to-end QA process, ensuring high-quality standards
across applications.
• Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual and automated testing across multiple environments, including
functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and track defects
through resolution.
• Continuously improve the test automation framework to enhance efficiency and
effectiveness.
• Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest areas for
improvement.
• Oversee continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) testing strategies.
• Monitor and report key QA metrics to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and
alignment on quality goals.
• Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management.
• Evaluate and recommend new testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with industry quality assurance standards and security
regulations.

Required Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in QA testing and software quality assurance(A must).
• Upper-intermediate level of English(A must).
• Work from 9 — 17:00 EST (16:00 — 00:00 Kyiv time).
• Proficiency in manual and some automated testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Cypress).
• Strong knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, or similar).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar) is
a plus.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
•Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to work in Agile teams.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub
Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience working in cloud-based environments is preferred.
 

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in mobile application testing.
• Exposure to security testing best practices.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
