Senior Backend Engineer (Go, Terraform)

We are hiring on behalf of a global leader — one of the TOP-5 management consulting firms in the world. Renowned for excellence, our client serves hundreds of Fortune 500 companies, including major players in finance, tech, media, and government sectors.

About the Project
You’ll be joining the Strategy & Corporate Finance department — a core division of the firm. The team delivers high-impact solutions to complex strategic and financial problems, using a structured approach, deep domain knowledge, and advanced tech tools.

Tech Stack:
Golang, Terraform, Docker, AWS, Postgres, MongoDB, OpenSearch, Azure (optional)

What You’ll Do:

• Design and develop robust microservices using Go
• Optimize REST APIs for speed and scalability
• Work with both relational (Postgres) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, OpenSearch)
• Contribute to integrations with Snowflake and data pipelines
• Collaborate with frontend developers, data scientists, and tech leads
• Ensure high code quality with unit tests and best engineering practices
• Participate in system performance tuning and monitoring

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Golang (Go)
• Strong skills in writing efficient SQL queries
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs and microservices
• Experience with Docker and cloud services (preferably AWS ECS)
• Hands-on with Postgres and other databases
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Snowflake
• Python or Java background (especially for those transitioning to Go)
• Basic understanding of Terraform and cloud infrastructure
• Exposure to performance testing tools (like Locust)
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills
