Automation QA Engineer

Streamline is a New York-based company with offices in Europe and global representation in most regions. We develop AI-powered supply chain planning software that helps to make more money on the supply chain for manufacturers, distributors, and retailers worldwide.

Responsibilities:

1. Development, maintenance, and improvement of automated test scripts (E2E, API).
2. Automation of Smoke and Regression testing cycles.
3. Execution and analysis of automation test results, debugging failures, and reporting issues.
4. Integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
5. Participation in test automation framework development and enhancement.
6. Collaboration with the development team to ensure automated test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.
7. Analysis of functional and technical requirements for developing automation test cases.
8. Code reviews and maintenance of high-quality automation standards.

9. Active participation in defining and optimizing QA automation processes.

    

Requirements:

1. At least 1 year of practical experience specifically in test automation for web-based applications.
2. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
3. Understanding of client-server architecture
4. Hands-on experience with automation frameworks/tools (Playwright).
5. Solid understanding and practical experience with API automation testing (REST).
6. Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
7. Experience working with HTTP request types, REST API standards, and HTTP status codes.
8. Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
9. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Newman, or Insomnia.

10. English proficiency level B1 or higher.

     

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with test management systems like TestRail, Qase, Zephyr, etc.
2. Experience with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Rally, etc.).
3. Familiarity with test case design techniques (Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Partitioning, State Transition, etc.).

4. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
