General QA Engineer

We seek a General QA Engineer to join our team and work on a high-load telecom project. The system processes large volumes of real-time data, requiring thorough testing to ensure stability, performance, and reliability.

Requirements:

Experience:

• 4+ years of proven experience as a QA engineer with a focus on the backend side
• Strong knowledge and real practical experience with API testing
• Strong automation skills 
• Experience in creating test automation projects from scratch (java) will be a plus
• Experience with performance testing (Jmeter)
• Experience in Linux/UNIX command line
• Experience with SQL DB and NoSQL DB, SQL requests
• Experience with message broker (Kafka)
• Experience in writing test documentation (test plans/test strategy/test cases/bug reports)
• Ability to work with TCP dump using regular tools like Wireshark or similar
• Practical skills with Git

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of TCP, HTTP, and SMPP protocols
• Understanding of client-server and microservices architectures

• Confident knowledge of testing methodologies
