Backend Engineer (Python)

Join core engineering team as a Backend Engineer, where you'll architect and maintain the Python-powered infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build scalable infrastructure: Design and maintain high-performance backend systems and resilient data pipelines using Python
  • Data integration expertise: Connect and orchestrate data flows from diverse sources and APIs while maintaining performance at scale
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work directly with cloud and product teams to rapidly iterate based on real customer feedback
  • Performance optimization: Diagnose and resolve complex production challenges while maintaining system reliability and uptime

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Python mastery: Deep experience building and scaling production Python systems
  • Pipeline expertise: Proven track record with data pipeline architecture, API integration, and performance tuning
  • Quality-focused development: Ability to ship clean, maintainable code while meeting aggressive timelines
  • Startup agility: Thrives in fast-moving environments where you balance speed of delivery with operational stability
  • Operations mindset: Solid understanding of monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows

 

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Container orchestration experience (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • CI/CD pipeline development and management
  • Infrastructure as Code proficiency (Terraform, Helm)
