About the Role:

We’re looking for a talented and experienced Backend Engineer to join our expanding team. From day one, you will have the chance to drive the product roadmap and influence the broader business strategy. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by enhancing the financial performance of the company’s clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Full Development Cycle Ownership: Lead and manage the entire development process from conception to deployment. Collaborate closely with the product team to ensure seamless implementation and successful production launches.
2. Technology Stack and Tools: Select and utilize the most suitable tools and frameworks for development. The current tech stack includes AWS, Node.js, React, and Python for data-related tasks, with openness to adopting new technologies as needed.
3. Quality Code Development: Deliver high-quality, robust code that meets the stringent standards required for financial products, ensuring reliability and security in every release.

Required Competence and Skills:

• At least 6 years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
• At least 5 years of experience with Node.js
• At least 1 years of experience with frontend development using either React, or Vue or Angular
• Experience with AWS various services or other cloud providers
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and lead on building products and decision-making.
• Product mindset with the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to learning and development.
